IDFC AMC gets a new sales head

From Franklin Templeton, Gaurab Parija is set to join IDFC AMC as its head of sales & marketing.
 

After serving at Franklin Templeton MF for over 16 years, Gaurab Parija is set to head sales & marketing at IDFC AMC from March 2017. Parija was Director, Business Development & New Initiatives, India/EMEA at Franklin Templeton MF.

Parija is expected to fill Kalpen Parekh’s shoes at IDFC MF. Parekh has joined DSP BlackRock as Joint President.

Parija has over two decades of experience in sales, marketing, business development and driving strategic initiatives. Before joining Franklin Templeton, Parija worked with UTI MF.

He is a Management graduate from IIM Bangalore, and a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Physics from Presidency College, Chennai.
