Favourite sectors of fund managers
The equity portfolio managers continue to position their portfolio to benefit from the turnaround in the Indian economy and low interest rate scenario in the country. Sectors from the cyclical space (such as basic materials, consumer cyclical and financial services) which are rate-sensitive in nature have been favorite among the Indian managers for a long time now as these three-combine account for more than 50% of the portfolios of equity funds.
