NFO: SBI Multi Cap Fund

SBI Mutual Fund announced the launch of SBI Multi Cap Fund. The fund will invest 25% each in large, mid, and small cap stocks. The fund can invest up to 10% in REITs and InvITS and up to 25% in debt securities. The NFO opens on February 14 and closes on February 28, 2022.

  • Fund Manager: R. Srinivasan & Mohit Jain (Dedicated Fund Manager for overseas securities
  • Benchmark: NIFTY 500 Multicap 50:25:25 TRI Index
  • Minimum Application: Rs 5,000 and Rs 500 for SIP
  • Exit Load: Nil if redeemed or switched before one year for up to 10% units. 1% if redeemed in excess of 10% units. Nil after one year

As per above note, the allocation is like this.
25% on Large Cap
25% on Mid Cap
25% on Small Cap
10% on REIT and INVITS
So the sum is 85%. You have also mentioned up to 25% on Debt securities.
Hence the 100% allocation is not matching fully.
Does it mean Debt securities must be 15% and 25% is wrongly mentioned ?

I would like to see allocation maths perfectly when distributed for an 100%.
