A powerful tool which helps advisers make a case for investing in mutual funds, Morningstar Advisor Workstation, or AWS, is now integrated with BSE StAR MF platform. This means, subscribers can now directly execute client transactions through AWS.
Currently, only buy and sell transactions can be executed through AWS. Going ahead, all types of transactions like systematic investment plans, systematic withdrawal plans, systematic transfer plans will be possible.
Ashishkumar Chauhan, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Bombay Stock Exchange and Aditya Agarwal, Managing Director, Morningstar India will announce the initiative by ringing the iconic BSE closing bell at the convention hall on April 26, 2018.

This is how subscribers can execute transactions through AWS:
Step 1) Subscribers will have to prepare a transaction proposal for clients and follow all necessary steps till Action Plan page. In Action Plan page, click ‘Execute Transaction’ option at the top left corner.
Step 2) After this, you will asked to provide your BSE StAR MF Platform’s credentials. This page will also show transactions to be executed. Once you review the details, Execute transactions through the platform. Thereafter, you shall see status of the transactions (success, fail, partial success).
Step 3) Through the same page, users can send payment link to clients. Your clients will get an email notification for payment. Once they click on the payment link, they will be directed to BSE website for payment.
